Has anyone here ever heard of Scratch?
Get it here.
Basically, it's a programming language itself, working on a 480x360 canvas.
All pieces of the script, however, are premade.
Basically, you drag and drop sections in and create the script with "building blocks."

Sounds like this program called inventor/robo pro, except that is scripting for programming physical reactions. IE - Timed light flickering.

Oh gawsh. That reminds me. I took an engineering elective for sixth grade. At the end of the year (the main reason why a bunch of people stayed in the class), we finally started robots. We made them with these Fischertechniks thingies. We started programming them. I read on the back of the box hub thingy where everything connected to, and were the code was stored. It said that it would work with C. I was all like "YES!!!" So we started programming with RoboPro, and everyone was pissed.
Anyways, back on topic now. I don't know why, but I hate drag and drop stuff. 8th grade tech class uses it, but I'm not gonna take that elective next year. The only reason why I don't like drag and drop stuff, is mainly because of the restrictions I guess.

Dude.. We're doing that as well! Except, we have to do it in 6th 7th and 8th grade... So glad I'm in High school next year. :)
(RoboPro is easy as hell, I learned it's language in 10 minutes...)
We don't have elective classes :( We do next year! :)
Our school only provides lockers for 7th +

I have a Mac and use Scratch a lot, generally just to fool around and see what it can/can't do.

Download, turn off Internet, launch Minecraft, attempt login with phony credentials, and select the offline option. Works on Ubuntu, I don't know about other OSes.
